NTB Licences

There are a number of optional features that can be enabled on a Net-Top-Box. A separate licence must be purchased for each of these features per unit.

Streaming

The streaming licence enables the Net-Top-Box to pick up and show a UDP Multicast video stream, also known as "IP TV". Third Party equipment is necessary to produce and distribute these streams. If IP TV is available in an organisation then they may prefer the Net-Top-Box models that have no TV tuner card (NTB110, NTB3300) and to add the streaming licence to the unit. The price of such units is similar to those fitted with a TV tuner card.
