Instructions

  1. Play the media item on you PC.
    If the audio quality is poor then the problem is with the media, NOT the NTB.
    Ask the people who created it to check it.
  2. Attach a pair of headhones to the green audio out jack on the NTB and play the media item on the NTB.
    If the audio quality is good then the problem is with the audio distribution system or speakers, NOT the NTB.
    Contact the dealer who installed the equipment for further advice
  3. Otherwise: Browse to the "Setup | Audio" page on the NTB and reduce the Master Volume if it is 95% or higher.
  4. If the audio is poor on a particular media item then browse to the Playlist that it appears in, click the "Edit" button and check that the volume setting is less than 95%.

Resolution

OK Problem Solved.

Error The audio is still poor.

  1. Create a Layout Package including a layout that exhibits poor audio quality.
    (Show me how in a separate window)
  2. If the Layout Package is less then 1MB in size then click the link below to start a new e-mail message to Support.
  3. Attach the Layout Package, enter a brief description of the problem and send the e-mail.
