Troubleshooter

Warning I have not read the User Guide yet.

Notes

  • Audio files (e.g. MP3) are treated as video.
  • Playlist them in a video zone.
  • The NTB11x series does not support more than one video zone in a layout.
  • The NTB11x will not, therefore, be able to play separate video and audio at the same time.
  • The zone will go black or show the last frame of the last video for the duration of the song.
  • You may want to hide the zone behind another or make it very small.

Checklist

Check

Every audio file in the playlist was heard

If an audio file is missing or an unsupported format it will be skipped.

Check

No audio file ended prematurely

If an audio file is corrupt or only partially uploaded, it will end suddenly.

Check

No audio was distorted

Distorted audio may indicate that the volume setting on the item in the playlist is too high, try reducing it.Alternatively, the processor may be overloaded, browse to the "Processor Load" page on the NTB.

Check

"Player Status" page does not indicate: "Not allowed to allocate any more movie players"

Only one video zone is allowed per layout.
